Vitendo Foundation works across four interconnected areas that guide our projects, partnerships, and collaborative initiatives.

Communities, Territory and Social-Environmental Justice

We support community-led initiatives, participatory research processes, popular and environmental education initiatives, and collective action that contribute to building more just, inclusive, and sustainable territories, while strengthening the relationship between people, nature, and the inhabited space.

Knowledge Dialogue and Collective Learning

We create spaces where scientific, academic, technical, ancestral, spiritual, artistic, and everyday forms of knowledge can engage in dialogue through principles of mutual learning, collaboration, and the co-production of knowledge.

Transitions and Alternative Futures

We explore social, cultural, ecological, and economic pathways that contribute to more regenerative, democratic, and caring ways of inhabiting the planet, where nature, diverse forms of life, and communities occupy a central place in processes of territorial transformation.

Arts, Culture and Memory

We promote artistic expression, cultural exchange, storytelling, and creative practices as tools to strengthen collective memory, foster intercultural dialogue, and contribute to social transformation.
